My birthday weekend was amazing. Alex and I went to Kansas, and despite the tornado that hit the house, we had a great time. Mom and I went THE dress shopping (and found it), and we ate at my favorite restaurant ever, El Pueblitos.

Milo got his *ahem* nuts chopped off, so he wasn’t so thrilled with me yesterday. But he soon forgave me and fell asleep on my throat (no joke!)…

We’re looking at wedding reception venues this weekend, including the Dallas Cowboys golf club–how exciting! I love planning my wedding, and I’m so glad I have the time to spend on it to get it just right. Less than nine months to go now…

Rest in peace, Rachel. I’ll miss running into you (a lot) in Wal-Mart back home (how is it that we both move to Texas, only to see each other way often in good ol’ Coffeyville?!), I’ll miss our fun Phi Theta Kappa excursions, I’ll miss seeing you in history, but most of all, I’ll miss you. It’s so hard to believe you’re gone, but I know you’re in a better place.
