happy birthday, milo!
dear milo,
first of all, happy birthday sweetie! turning two is a huge deal, especially in cat years …
i know for the past few months, you’ve been really confused as to why we’d bring another animal in to take away from your cuteness, so for your birthday, we’ve decided to focus on just you for awhile.
your sister has been sent away to boarding school for the next month or so, so ENJOY your birthday month of freedom.
no longer will she steal your squeaky mouse from you, or hog all the food (not that you needed it!)
you can lay around all day, without fear of being lovingly pounced on.
this is our gift to you.
you were one of the best things to ever happen to us, no matter what we went through with you in the beginning. you are the perfect cat for us, and we love you.

Happy Birthday kitty cat. I had no idea we were closer then your mom….. I guess I thought your mom lived in Texas and that is one of the reasons you two were down there… where does your mom live again? I think I might have mixed up your paretns for your husbands…. hmmm… How you holding up?
@sammyjo_1 - alex’s mom lives in texas, so maybe that’s where it came in (i also call her mom … confusing!) my mom lives in coffeyville, so it’s always a fun drive to nothingness. bleh.
i’m surviving. alex and i realized how much calmer everything was yesterday, and we liked it. at the same time, we’re miserable without her. lol, she gave us an added purpose. now, we have time to focus on work and cleaning and all the other “not fun” stuff!
the question is though, how are YOU holding up?! life is definitely putting us through the ringer, but your stuff is waaaaaaay bigger than my dog going away. i worry about you.
