two down, one to go.
okay, so i’m back, and i survived.
i was still so nervous during the first one. i’m pretty sure i stammered a bit in the beginning, and it felt like i paused longer than i probably should have.
since it’s an internal job, i didn’t have to many questions about the position. despite knowing most of the company’s quirks, i should have come up with a few more questions about things.
but the second one was spectacular. i was totally on my game. i realized that i was just TALKING to a person, and it didn’t matter if i got the job or not. really.
… and despite the fact that she was 15 minutes late, she and i talked for
almost 45 minutes. it was interesting to get another higher-ups take on
the company’s transition.i was calm, collected and confident. i learned that the job was an interesting change from what i do now, and that i would be more than capable of doing it.
my third interview is tomorrow at 9. we’ll see how that all goes, i guess.
i keep going back and forth on whether i want to take it or not, if offered.
it would be a fabulous step forward, but in a completely different direction. while i’m in a creative position now, i’d be doing a 180 by switching to an uber-technical job.
would it be worth the change? only time will tell.
