  • the mario mentality.

i made a very important comparison today. one that ties my childhood
with my present, in an attempt to change my attitude on the future.

    *drum roll, please …*

i realized that life is full of levels to beat, just like in super
mario world (and super mario bros, super smash bros, mario kart, mario
teaches typing … er, you get the idea. mr. popular is in over 200
    video games!).

we’re all leveling up through life, just like mario.

the start of the game is so simple … one minute, you’re walking
around eating apples with your favorite buddy (ahh, yoshi) and the
next thing you know, the shit hits the flagpole:

    the princess is kidnapped.

exclamation points need to be found.

getting taller is a possibility, only if you eat weird-looking mushrooms.

survival depends on flying with a feather or riding an animal one-fifth your weight.

spiky animals will rain from the sky.

most of all, you have to fit your pizza-loving ass down a skinny pipe.

… and that’s all before you meet your first of bowser’s annoying minions.

see, life just keeps getting harder with each advancement. but i guess
it’s also super fulfilling to make it to the next step (almost)
    unscathed.

i mean, if a plumber can make it through, i can too, right?

(shit, i can’t find my cheat codes!)

*ps: some of these pictures were too good NOT to post!!

    pps: i can has rekommendz?
